Here is some information about the Acotca2023 meeting.
Airport transportation. The Thessaloniki airport (SKG) is about 15Km from the
city center. A taxi to the city costs about 25 euros. Alternatively there is Bus 01X (during day) or Bus 01N (during night) to the city for a cost about 2 euros.
Location of meeting. The meeting will take place in the Science Building of the University of Thessaloniki, which is located in the corner of Eth. Aminis str. and
Ag. Dimitriou str., a few minutes walk from ABC Hotel. The meeting starts on Monday June 26 at 9:00 am with registration. Tthe first talk is at 10:00 am.
Meeting Dinner. Is scheduled on Thursday June 29, 8:30 pm, at the 7th floor of the Mediterranean Palace Hotel, https://www.mediterranean-palace.gr/. This is almost in the center of the city, at 3 Salaminos & Karatassou str., Thessaloniki.
There will be a Greek-food buffet and most likely live Greek music. The cost is 40 euro/person. The hosting hotel needs to know the number of dinner participants early in order to prepare so it is important to fill in the this google form, as soon as possible, whether you are participating or not, so that we can notify the Dinner Provider about the number of participants.
If you wish to pay by card you should fill and sign the attached form and e-mail it to: events@mediterranean-palace.gr (in care of Ms. Alexandra Balla, Conference and Events Executive), by Monday June 19 at the latest. An official receipt for the payment will be given to participants by the hotel at dinner.
It is also possible to pay for the Dinner during registration in cash. In this case you get a handwritten receipt which may not be appropriate to use for reimbursement from your funding source.
